The DTCO Simulator Tachograph Training

VDO's online DTCO tachograph training simulator is designed to support drivers and Fleets with learning all the right lessons when it comes to tachograph operation. The simulator allows you to practice using all the most common DTCO models efficiently online.

This tool can help with classroom demonstrations or offer an alternative way of learning remotely and/or independently, as the virtual sessions are practice-oriented and realistically run, thanks to high technical standards.

all types of scenarios can be taught and there is no limit to how many times the simulator can be re-set to ensure you are completely comfortable with any task.

Are you purchasing the simulator to help complete tachograph manual entries?

VDO recognise that tachograph manual entries is one of the biggest areas where support is needed for drivers and Fleets in the UK and can cause issues when looking at compliance.

As a result, VDO has created a specific Tachograph Manual Entry eLearning course.

The course is designed to go through what a manual entry is, the main key considerations based on what issues different fleets are facing, the different modes available and the process of completing manual entries on digital/smart tachographs.

The course is great for new or occasional drivers, but can also act as a refresher for more experienced regular drivers or where additional training may be required. The course contains a small test to make sure the content was understood by the participants, and then on completion of the course, a certificate is generated.

This course has been used by many Fleets as an initial training course prior to drivers then practicing what they have learnt on the online simulator.
